Mizaj (Temperament): According to Ibn Sina, its hararat (hotness) isweak than its yaboosat (dryness).
Action: Mufarreh (Exhilarant), Munaffis-e- Balgham (Expectorant), Mulattif (Demulcent), Jali (Detergent), Muqawwi-e-Hafeza (Memory tonic), Muqawwie Bah (Aphrodisiac), Muqawwie Qalb (Cardiotonic), Mohsine Lon (Improve complexion), Muqawwie Basr (Improve eye sight), Muqawwie Aaza Raisa (Vital organ tonic).
Therapeutic Uses: Khafqan (Palpitation), Zof-e-Qalb (Weakness of the heart), Sual (Cough), Zeeq-un-Nafas (Asthma), Nazla (Catarrh), Quroohe Ain (Corneal ulcer), Jarab wa Sulaq, Zofe Bah (Sexualdebility)
