Uses: Its leaves, fruits and outer portion of the stem have medicinal property. Leaves are used for skin diseases like eczema, infection. The oil prepared with extract of neem leaves or decoction, crushed leaves are useful in itching and wound healing. It is a great antiseptic and pest-control medicine. Decoction of the outer portion of its stem is also helpful in various diseases.
Making Neem Oil: make 100 ml fresh juice of neem leaves. Add 25 cc sesame oil to this. Slowly boil the mixture undercover. The water part will completely evaporate in half an hour. Cool and filter it. This is neem oil for wound care. Apply this to wounds 2-3 times a day. This heals the wound well. For childbirth injuries, the neem water bath is a healing treatment. Crush some leaves of neem and put them in warm bathwater. Let the mother sit for fifteen minutes in this bathtub.
नीम पाउडर
नीम का आयुर्वेद में बहुत उपयोग है।
नीम पाउडर में एंटी–बैक्टीरिया, एंटी–सेप्टिक, एंटी–माइक्रोबियल और एंटी–इनफ्लामेटरी गुण होते है जो कि मनुष्य के स्वास्थ्य के लिए बहुत ज़रूरी होते है।
उपयोग–
- नीम पाउडर का प्रयोग बालों की डेंड्रफ दूर करने के लिए करा जाता है। नीम पाउडर को पानी में मिक्स करके बालों की जड़ो में लगाए। 30 मिनट के बाद बालों को धो ले।
- सिर की जुए (lice) को दूर करने के लिए नीम पाउडर को मेहंदी में मिक्स करके लगाए।
- मुँहासे व चेहरे के दाने को दूर करने के लिए नीम पाउडर, दही और मुल्तानी मिट्टी का पेस्ट बनाए। इस पेस्ट को चेहरे पर लगाए। जब यह सूख जाए तब चेहरे को धो ले।
- नीम पाउडर का प्रयोग दाँतों को स्वस्थ रखने में भी करा जाता है।
- सोरायसिस की समस्या में भी नीम पाउडर का प्रयोग करा जाता है। नीम पाउडर को प्रभावित (affected area) skin पर लगाने से आराम मिलता है। 1 चम्मच नीम पाउडर, 0.5 चम्मच हल्दी पाउडर को हल्के गरम पानी में मिलाकर लेने से भी आराम मिलता है।
- एक्जिमा (eczema) की समस्या होने पर नीम पाउडर, हल्दी पाउडर को पानी में मिक्स करके लगाने से आराम मिलता है।
- बाल झड़ने की समस्या आजकल गम्भीर समस्या है इसके लिए नीम पाउडर, एलोवेरा जल के पानी में मिलाकर बालों की जड़ो में लगाए। आधे घंटे बाद बालों को धो ले।
- तेलिय त्वचा (oily skin) के लिए नीम पाउडर, बेसन, गुलाब जल का पेक बनाकर चेहरे पर लगाए। 15 मिनट के पश्चात चेहरे को धो ले।
- शुगर (diabetic) के मरीज़ों को एक गिलास पानी में एक चम्मच नीम पाउडर मिलाकर सुबह पानी से शुगर में आराम मिलता है।
- नीम पाउडर ख़ून को साफ़ (purify) करने का भी काम करता है। नीम पाउडर को दूध (milk) में मिलाकर लेने से शरीर की रोग प्रतिरोधक शक्ति (immunity) बढ़ती है।
- नीम पाउडर को प्रतिदिन प्रयोग करने से रक्तचाप नियंत्रण (blood pressure control) होता है।
- नीम पाउडर का फ़ेस पेक लगाने से चेहरा चमकता करता है।
- शेमपू बनाने में भी नीम पाउडर को मिक्स करा जाता है जिससे शेमपू एंटी–इन्फ़ेक्शन बन जाता है।
